Frank Seckler Console Table
37” x 12” x 25.5”
Frank Seckler has focused on creating patinas that pull forward warmth, vibrancy, and texture to his steel pieces. Frank has successfully married his passion for color and the design process to create not only beautiful, but functional art.
He spent time at the Rhode Island School of Design and completed his degree in fine art at Lewis and Clark College. After working with many well-known artists and sculptors, Frank opened Seckler Studios in 1989. Seckler Studio quickly gained a reputation for its craftsmanship and metal finishes. Franks training in both printmaking and painting is what inspired his concentration on developing patinas to bring out the inherent beauty and vibrancy in steel. Frank’s work has been collected throughout the United States, Western Europe and Japan. He creates his unique pieces in Taos, New Mexico, USA. The pieces are “powder-coated” which enhances the finish, as well as protecting the piece and allowing for easy cleaning, while also being environmentally friendly.
